Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson, an iron worker, and Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the sixth of seven children. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's taste in music as well as the music played at her home. In her early years she was already able to establish the impression of her identity and what she hoped to accomplish. Church choirs was instrumental in developing this talent. In her early teens when she was 15, she got a spot on a talent show on TV and started appearing regularly in the Skyline Melodies Tv Show while still in High School. Around the same time when she was working, she began performing in nightclubs. Nancy graduated high school at the age of 17 and then attended Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a whole year. Then she dropped out to pursue a profession as a professional musician. In 1956 she released her first album with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. The group toured with Rusty Bryant between 1956 and 1958. Nancy started recording with Dot Records in 1956, when she was part of the band. Cannonball Adderley told her that she needed to relocate into New York to further her professional career. She moved to The Big Town at the end of the year 1959. The agent of Adderley heard about her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. within a month of her arrival in New York City. He obtained a contract for signing her with Capitol records in 1960 and she made her debut that year with the single. Guess Who? Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a period of two years. Under the direction of Cannonball Adderley Wilson's leadership, Wilson started focusing on R&B but soon shifted to jazz and torch music. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 helped to bring her to the forefront and her smash hit Tell Me the Truth was made available in the year 1963. Her first job was at the New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's top club.

She graduated from Archaeology, Anthropology. Maisie started her acting career with the film Our First World, released in the year 2012. Ellie was her character in 2013's short film Americano and Rum. In 2015, she was the cameo of Korr Sella on the movie Short Wars: Force Awakening. Then she appeared in the Netflix original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 and 3 as Chloe Winthrop.
