Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most acclaim was for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). Also, she played the lead part of Jerrica Jem Benton, in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was a valedictory address for the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but admitted her twice, in order to take on her role in Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in the television film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. The Good Mother was her character. Layla Grant, a major character from The Good Mother, a Nashville second season drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview from 2019 for NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples to be one of the top actors who is under 20 in September of 2014.
